Verizon is digging giant holes in the front yard, which has resulted in two gas leaks this week, once with the entire neighborhood closed off with a fire line and a stolid "Don't come any further, Ma'am."   and "Your pet is fine."  Riiiggghtt.  Because your vast experience with the sensitive fragility of bird physiology qualifies you to issue that ( Read more... )

That's the question I'm asking today in any case.  I've swerved over twice recently on 495 to avoid vehicles which failed to recognize that I and my car occupy a physical space.  No seriously, not just a case of looking too late -- the drivers showed no signs afterwards of recognizing that they had nearly creamed both of us.
